Set Sail & Sailing On Story

Opened in 2009 as a South Boston neighborhood Catholic elementary school, South Boston Catholic Academy has rapidly grown into one of the most successful Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston.  With enrollment of over 500 students in 2021/2022, SBCA is a source of great pride and importance to many families in South Boston, the Seaport District, and beyond.  SBCA students continue to achieve academic success, preparing academy graduates for entry into many of the outstanding middle and high schools in the Greater Boston area.  

We have been developing ways to address our growth in enrollment and expand our educational programming, while at the same time, enriching and enhancing the student and teacher experience.

• Former Convent Construction for Early Childhood Education Program  COMPLETED!

• Elementary School Classroom Improvements
• Elementary School Green Planet Enhancements
