  South Boston Catholic Academy is ready to take the next step in achieving our goals for enhancing the K1 - 6 building and academic programming, creating an Early Childhood Education Center for our youngest students, and to provide a greener environment to accommodate and nurture our growing school.
  
  Our Goals (Set Sail & Sailing On):
  
  PHASE ONE - Set Sail focuses on:
  
  Former Convent Construction for Early Childhood Education Program COMPLETED!
  
  PHASE TWO - Sailing On focuses on:
  
  Elementary School Classroom Improvements
  
  Elementary School Green Planet Enhancements
  
  √  Strengthen and enrich the academic experience for both teachers and students in our current elementary school building with a new STEAM lab, Art & Music rooms, enhanced support services, and dedicated library and technology center;
  √  Create a more Green Environment for climate conscientious students at SBCA by enhancing interior systems as well as outdoor learning and play spaces;
  √ Expand the Early Childhood Education Program to a newly constructed, state of the art facility in the former St. Brigid Parish Convent.
  
  South Boston Catholic Academy is launching this capital campaign to raise $2 million of the $3.8 million needed to make this plan a reality.
  
  To date, $1.5 million has been committed by Community Supporters of Early Childhood Education, and of our School;
  
  Our school board is committing $300,000 from its capital improvement budget over the next three years;
  
  We hope the South Boston Catholic Academy community of families and friends can help us achieve our goal of $2 million, of which $1 million will be dedicated to each school building.
